Ratty is a 20' Tad Roberts designed Cat Ketch Standing Lug. Barefoot Wooden boats was commissioned to build Ratty by yacht designer Tad Roberts in 2002. Inspired by the Drascombe Lugger, she has flatter sections for more stability and speed and an unstayed cat ketch standing lug rig. Her inboard motor-well leaves a clean transom. Ratty was recently discussed in Wooden Boat magazine in a series of articles on the effects of hull shape on performance. Specs20' LOA 17'6" LW L 6' 8 ' Beam 1' Draft b/u 4' Draft b/d 350 lbs.
